Good day believers,
I hope that the past week has been a blessed one as we look forward to an even more blessed one to come. I also hope that this bread ministers to you as much as it has ministered to me. Let’s break bread.
“Pull the thumb”, “pull the thumb”, “pull the thumb!!!!!!!” I think I’ve heard this a million times in football camp. “Don’t point the finger, but pull the thumb.” This world is a cause and effect world. Sometimes, when someone does something that I dislike, it was a reaction to me doing something that they didn’t like, and vice versa. Sometimes the one trait that I can’t stand in someone else is the same trait that dominates my attitude.
Why don’t we just skim through Matthew 7:3 real quick, “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” (more…)

Good day, Believers…
We continue to wish you all the best in your walk with Christ. We also would like to thank you for using our Bread as nourishment along your path. Let’s eat…
His Intentions
Ok, so in the middle of a weekend of jet skiing, tubing, eating good, laughing, watching movies, swimming, enjoying the country side while driving in nice cars, water balloons, and play-fighting with kids, I sat back
And thought, wow… This Is The Life!!!
I thought about the millions of people that never get a single day to enjoy that type of lifestyle when a joyous, enjoyable, relaxing, wealthy lifestyle is what He intended for us all.

Good day Believers…
I hope that you are all doing well on your walk towards Perfection. Though it’s unattainable it’s the pursuit of Righteous Perfection that shapes and molds us. And if you ever get hungry during that walk, stop off at L. Bennett’s and pick up some fresh bread…
Revelation:
I attended a wedding this past weekend. I got to see all of the normal things that most weddings have i.e. cute flower girls, a handsome young ring-bearer, cameras flashing, Bride’s maids and their girdles, the Groom’s Frat brother’s Barking out loud and doing the Q-Dog step/stomp at the reception, the Bride’s father pissed at people not eating the food he paid for, women on the dance floor with no shoes because their heels have been killing their feet all day, that one older female relative dressed like she’s going to the club with a tight skirt/dress trying to show that she “still has it,” that older guy who looks like someone’s uncle who bites his bottom lip with every dance step and is a master of the pelvic thrust, etc… You know, the usual, lol!!! Good day believers,
I would like for everyone to constantly remind themselves that GOD and his word are one. GOD is real; don’t let spirituality become a ritual. His word has in it the LIFE that can bring LIGHT to the darkness in our lives. It can only bring that light if you allow it. This isn’t a game, get real with the word.
Proverbs 4:5-8
Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them… Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Esteem her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you.
Understanding: To comprehend; realize, and/or discern. In simple terms, to grasp (idea, principle, concept, etc.)

Are we truly thankful?
I remember going away to college and being low on cash as a college student. There were some nights when I ate like a King and had Dominoes pizza, lol!! But there were plenty of nights of “Oodles of Noodles,” and Popcorn. At times, I sat there looking at those noodles in that pot and thought about all of the parents out there that would love to have some noodles in a pot for themselves and their children. I also thought about all of the parents who could afford noodles and whole lot more, and actually did provide a whole lot more for their children day in and day out. It made me thankful that I was in a fortunate position. But even though I was thankful, I would be a liar to say that I never took anything for granted. Are you thankful for all that you’ve received? After a long stint in the Bahamas the L. Bennett’s Weekly Bread is back, so sit back, relax, and enjoy your meal…
Good day believers,
Just because it isn’t Gospel does not mean that it isn’t the Lord’s. My brother and I have been rappers and songwriters for years. We rap but we aren’t Gospel rappers, we played football but we weren’t Gospel football players. We never wanted the rest of the world to ignore us or run away once they see the Gospel label. I one day got this revelation…. “In ALL that you do, keep the Lord first without contradicting his standards, and he can use your progress for HIS glory.”
Therefore I can rap but not glorify Drugs, Sex, Guns, and Violence. I can do music videos but not have naked women in my videos. I can rap without cursing. In all of this, I can still make it marketable and appealing to the non-Christians without compromising my Christianity. (more…)
