Good day, Believers…
I warn you, today’s Bread is a little longer than normal but I’m sure you’ll enjoy…
Getting to know Him…
I once listened to an older man (60’s) debate with a younger man (20’s) about who was the greatest entertainer of all time. I started to laugh to myself because I understood why each of them were choosing the people that they chose. The younger man was an advocate for Michael Jackson because he knew Michael Jackson as the singer, the dancer, the pop-icon, etc… However, once the older man stated his case, the argument soon came to an end. The older man say these words,” See now that’s the problem with you young whippersnappers, You don’t know nothin’. You walk around with that similac on your breath all wet behind the ears… Boy, shut up and listen. Sammy Davis Jr. was a tap dancer, a singer, a choreographer, an actor, and a comedian on top of that. I think he even knew how to make parfaits too, lol!!!” You can see why the young man was quiet afterwards. He didn’t know Sammy Davis Jr. for being all of those things, whereas the older man did. The older man could make a stronger argument for Sammy Davis Jr. because he knew Sammy Davis Jr. to be so many things. That made me go hmmmm…. (more…)

Good day, Believers…
As the seasons change, I urge you all to pin point the season of life in which you’re in and act in accordance with that season. I thank you for continuing to tune in to The Weekly Bread and I hope that you enjoy. Let’s eat…
BREAD…
Yesterday was our Grandmother’s 80th Birthday. The family got together and took her out to eat at a restaurant (ironically) named London Lennie’s lol! Anyway, we laughed, and joked and talked and had a great time. But, before we did all that, and before we were even served, we sat at a table with the typical, water and bread. I noticed how we all enjoyed the sliced bread before the meal. I noticed how we all enjoyed bread during our meal and along with our meal. I even noticed how there was Bread left over even after the meal was done. There’s just something about that Bread…
John 6:35- Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

Good day believers,
I pray that your lives will continue to be blessed and changed by the weekly loaf. It is truly fresh out of the Lord’s oven, so when you feel like it is speaking directly to what you’re going through, you know that it is truly the Lord speaking to you, through us. Time to break bread……
“But I don’t feel like it”, I know you’ve said that to yourself before. I know that I have also, and I really meant it. It is no sin to not feel like doing something, however it is procrastination when we obey that voice that says “But I don’t feel like it”. Procrastination is a thief. PERIOD!!!
A 100 meter dash runner has to come out of the starting blocks in order to enter what is called the acceleration phase. The acceleration phase is about 20-30 meters. The last 20-30 meters is called the deceleration phase. Therefore the middle 40-50 meters is probably the fastest running that the sprinter experiences during the race. This reminds me of a simple yet profound statement. Act, and the feelings will follow. MOTIVATE!!! A car engine probably works harder to start a car then it does while a car is moving. (more…)
